| | Currently Listening II By Boyz II Men WATER RUNS DRY....hey it's old school....but I love just this one song! see related |
in a room full of 4 amazing girls,
there lived one lucky girl.....now she just felt like a princess to
have all these good fortunes....
And she was sooo excited when her roommates were set free from the everyday studies and could just cut loose....

And even more when they could go play in the snow....for it is February and now Oklahoma decided to "Let it Snow"....

And during these cold months, sometimes ya just gotta light a fire to warm up...

And she needed to get her exercise....by jumping up and down at concerts and such...(Feiock, that's Hero Factor ;)

And when it's just "One of those days, that a girl goes through " she just felt like hitting someone.....

But whether there was studying or snow...concerts, bumper cars or cigars....
By God, there'll always be dancing......
(Refer to profile picture, because it's stopped letting me download pictures=)
HOPE EVERYONE IS HAVING AN AMAZING WEEK =)

2nd Chance Formal.....just another chance to wear my new dress=) I hope
everyone is doing amazing. This semester is flying, probably because

| "When I'm with you I see the world in a different way You shine so bright When I'm close to you I feel the way that you really are It moves my heart

You make me want to be So beautiful You make me want to be Just like you Beautiful

I think about you And how you change everything you touch I love you so much You amaze me You lift me up to a higher place Put a smile on my face

I think kids love in the most pure and honest way. I miss all my kids I watched at the daycare. Sometimes they would tell me things that had happened in their life or about their home and it would break my heart. Some of them had already gone through more tragedy than I have in 21 years. Divorce, death, alcoholics, abuse, counceling...I think about them a lot and wonder how they are doing and hope they have good role models and influence. What amazed me the most was their heart. People often say that kids are too young to understand, but I don't think think they get enough credit for how smart they are. Through even the worst tragedies, they just continue to love unconditionally. It's February....which is often thought of as the month of love. The best kind of love makes you want to be better, challenges you, has faith in you and loves even the worst things about you. We could learn a thing or two about this from kids...so let's just start loving like we were kids again, bright-eyed and whole-heartedly. | | |
| Well a lot has happened in the
past couple of weeks.....I Week, which was very exciting as always! And
then my birthday!!!! I am officially 21! It was the best birthday too.
Friday night during the official
midnight countdown a bunch of my friends and I went to my favorite
restaraunt in Stillwater....none other than Shortcakes! What can I say,
I'm not into 1st class=) We ate my favorite kind of food, breakfast and
then they all sang to me at midnight. After that, we couldn't pass up
getting to use my ID for the first time so we went to a gas station and
purchased cigars and wine coolers. To document the occasion, I saved
the bag with the date, time, and people written on it=) Plus, we took
some funny pictures and talked about some truly girly memories. That
turned out to be a pretty funny night because some boys wanted to hang
out with us....some drunk persistent boys and we literally had to kick
them out of Abby's apartment because they did not take the hint. My
roommate Sara was saying all kinds of lies too, she told him we were
from a Catholic High School (I'm not really sure what that lie was
supposed to do) and then she told one of them she was engaged and after
he saw the ring, he finally believed her, but still noted that the rest
of us weren't. Therefore, of course Sara had to tell him we believed in
polygamy and we all shared the same fiance....it's a good thing these
guys were drunk. Otherwise they would've thought we were crazy.
Saturday I got to sleep in
and then go get a pedicure with Amy and Sara, which turned out to
be a lot more laughs. I don't think I'll say what the man there said to
us...but I did laugh so hard I cried. Then, that night I got to see the
inside of Club Rodeo, the place I have wanted to go in since they
opened it...because yes I do remember when that was, it was right
before my 18th birthday. Man, I was right too. It was my kind of place!
Country and rock n roll, dancing, bull riding and cowboys!

We danced.......

.......and danced some more=)

These are just a few because I definitely have 122 pictures from the entire night=)
And then last night I got to go see Stars on Ice at the Ford Center and
Jame Sale and David Pelletier were there and skated as amazing as ever.
My favorite part about watching ice skating is their choice of music.
My favorite programs are the ones to really upbeat or passionate songs.
The American couple skaters skated to Vertigo by U2 and that was
freaking amazing.

Aren't they such a cute couple????

And here are a couple of pictures from the Switchfoot, Lifehouse and
Howie Day concert! Amy you'll have to send me the cool pictures we took
with our dates whenever you get a chance!

That is one gooooood lookin man!!!

So needless to say, my life has been fun lately! Amy is leaving for
Malta Friday and that is just WEIRD. She is having a going away party
on Thursday. It's just going to be weird being that far away for so
long. But when she comes back....we will have an apartment for next
year. I'm so excited. 4 Bedroom, 4 Bath, there is a pool, volleyball
court, weight room, computer lab, tanning beds, and did I mention my
own room, which I'm pretty darn excited about. I am going to get new
bedding and do my room in a shiny olive green and brown with a sheer
canopy bed cover. That is the most princess thing I have ever wanted
haha. Amy and I decided that the first things we want to do is break
every rule we've had to follow when we lived in the dorms and while
we've lived in the Chi O. You guys can all come visit us! Until then,
have an amazing week! And here's to January because so far it has been
an amazing month!!! Love you all!
